Cindy Bishop

Cindy is a registered lobbyist and the editor and publisher of Health Care Information Services. Cindy established Checkmate Strategies in 1995. She has worked on many high profile legislative campaigns including but not limited to the Smoke Free Air Act, the Primary Seat Belt Act, the Child Passenger Safety Act, and the Concealed Carry Permit Act.
She began her professional career working in association management for the Louisiana Dental Association. Cindy is experienced in all aspects of association management including membership recruitment and retention, non-profit board development and leadership, fiscal management, communications, public relations and conference and meeting planning.
Cindy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola University in New Orleans. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), The Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits, the Louisiana Society of Association Executives and Association of Lousiana Lobbyists.
David Roberson

David and his team are experts in Association Management. They utilize technology, organizational techniques and superior communications to increase revenue, retain and grow membership and enhance member satisfaction with their association. His team also employs best practices in financial management.
David and his team coordinate lobbying efforts and plan and execute events for associations and lobbying clients. They do it with efficiency and superior management skills.
David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He has successfully represented clients and worked with associations through three executive administrations and two decades of legislative sessions. He therefore brings experience and also an expert viewpoint to each challenge.
